Integrated Marketing…themepark style

Friday, March 23rd 2012

Really interesting event at the Leeds Club last night. Delighted to introduce Ashley Young from Lightwater Valley, and his take on Integrated Marketing and how it has worked for him.

Ashley also gave a great insight into marketing issues, measures, understanding customers and the pressures to deliver the brand promise.

A really great overview.

A big thank you to Nidderdale AONB for the great feedback regarding our design work to date.

After winning the design pitch last year, Biskit has been busy developing a new brand identity for Nidderdale and carrying this across their range of on and offline media.

Most of the project work is now coming to fruition, with various new branded items emerging over coming weeks. Projects have included the main visitor guide, website redesign, e-newsletter design, through to signage, powerpoint and office materials.

Leanne Fox at Nidderdale commented: “We are really pleased with the new Nidderdale AONB brand and how our publications are coming together. Everything looks really fresh, vibrant and professional. I don’t think we ever envisaged something quite so bold but we trusted Biskit’s judgement and it really works. We have had some great feedback already!”

Looking forward to starting the next set of projects.

Great feedback from deliciouslyorkshire workshops

Thursday, March 15th 2012

We were delighted to help deliver 2 workshops for deliciouslyorkshire, as part of their strategy to help food and drinks producers across the Yorkshire region develop their brands.

Ed Ryder from Biskit helped deliver two workshops, which covered a range of topics: what is a brand, choosing the right channels, business growing pains, monitoring costs and measures for business.

Feedback from the workshops has been excellent, from both deliciouslyorkshire and the delegates.

Gemma Richardson, General Manager of deliciouslyyorkshire commented “Ed has recently delivered two highly interactive, informative workshops for deliciouslyorkshire members. The feedback from delegates has been excellent with 100% saying they would attend future workshops from him. Well presented with enthusiasm and expert knowledge, delivered with creativity! I wouldn’t hesitate to hire Ed and his company Biskit for further workshops.”

Delegates came from a range of sectors including confectionery, beer, spices and preserves, milling and farming.
