K Lacey Wires and Cables was established over 50 years ago, providing high quality wire and cable to companies across the world. They work with a huge array of clients from sectors that include: Aerospace, Defence, Electronics and Transportation. Such critical industries require an exceptional approach to quality and managed supply chains.
From Vision to Delivery
We began by working closely with K Lacey’s senior team to clarify their Vision, Mission, and Values.
This foundational step was critical in aligning the entire organisation and setting a clear direction for the future. Identifying gaps rather than starting from scratch allowed us to build on their existing strengths.
One of the key challenges was ensuring the leadership team had enough time to focus on strategic tasks.
By streamlining processes and prioritising leadership development, we enabled them to lead more effectively and drive the company forward.
We then developed a robust Sales & Marketing plan to maximise the potential of current and new customers, supported by a Supplier Engagement strategy to strengthen partnerships and explore new product opportunities.
To ensure the team was equipped for future challenges, we introduced a skills development template aimed at up-skilling staff and improving retention.
As K Lacey expanded their product offerings, we co-developed a Product Onboarding Roadmap and enhanced their online presence with an internationalised website.
Even after the SC21 programme ended, we continued to support K Lacey, helping them achieve their highest turnover in 50 years.
